About Dr. Porubsky
Caitlin Porubsky, DO, is a skilled and compassionate dermatologist at Dermatology Specialists of Brighton in Brighton, Michigan. She has an extensive interest and background in cutaneous oncology with a focus on melanoma. Dr. Porubsky is the author of numerous studies and papers and is a thought leader and teacher.
At the clinic, she specializes in mole mapping, in addition to skin cancer prevention, screening, and treatment. Patients love her gentle and caring approach, and her eagerness to educate them about their skin and how to care for it.
After completing her medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, she held a traditional rotating internship at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Her desire to serve in oncological dermatology led her to complete a Research Fellowship at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Porubsky enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, kayaking, skiing and traveling when possible
